Theresa Angel, CPNP, PMHNP, IBCLC
Theresa Angel is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in both Primary Care Pediatrics and Psychiatric Mental Health, and is also a board-certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Originally from Iowa, she earned her nursing degree and graduate degree in Pediatric Primary Care from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Theresa built a strong clinical foundation working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and the emergency department, caring for critically ill and injured children.
Board certified as both a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Theresa offers a unique, whole-child approach to care—addressing both physical health and emotional well-being. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers children, adolescents, and their families to thrive. She partners closely with families to create personalized treatment plans that nurture both mind and body.
Theresa lives with her husband and two children, Camilla and Henry. Outside of work, she loves to travel, explore new restaurants, run, and play pickleball.
Theresa's office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, & Fridays for primary care and Wednesdays & Thursdays for psychiatric care. She rotates Saturdays.
