Lactation consultation
Are you expecting? We honor every family’s choice in how to feed their new baby, and if you choose to breastfeed, our on-staff
lactation consultants are here to help. While breastfeeding can be a rewarding experience for both mother and child, it can also present challenges. Our team offers expert guidance and compassionate support with latching, milk transfer, breast and nipple care, low or oversupply, pumping and bottle feeding, returning to work, weaning, and other breastfeeding concerns, helping you work toward your feeding goals with confidence.
ADHD management
Parents of children with ADHD often have many questions, and we’re here to provide answers and support. At Lowry Pediatrics, we take a collaborative approach, working closely with families, our behavioral health specialist, healthcare providers, and your child’s school to ensure consistent, coordinated care. Following evidence-based practices, we offer comprehensive
ADHD management that includes diagnosis, follow-up, medication management, and behavioral strategies. While there is no cure for ADHD, the right combination of support, structure, and medication can significantly improve your child’s focus, learning, and positive interactions with peers.
Asthma Care
If your child is experiencing symptoms of
asthma, Lowry Pediatrics has a specialized treatment plan for the care of pediatric asthma. We will work in partnership with you and your family to provide education regarding the physiology of asthma, proper use of medications, and the avoidance of triggers in order to help minimize symptoms your child may be experiencing. Our mission is to allow your child to participate in everyday life, sports, and activities as fully as possible! Nicole Checots, our care coordinator will educate your family on the management of your child’s asthma and help develop an individualized treatment plan.
