About us
Welcome to Lowry Pediatrics! Our behavioral health provider, Kelly Mead, LPC, provides behavioral health consultation to established patients at Lowry Pediatrics Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday during clinic hours.
Some of the areas that Kelly works with patients on include anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, sleep problems, parenting questions, behavioral concerns, potty training, postpartum depression. Kelly can also can determine whether your child's needs are best met through an outside referral or short-term, in-house therapy sessions. Any patients who are prescribe psychiatric medication should return to our office every three months for follow up.

Lowry Pediatrics partners with
AccessCare Services, a subsidiary of Colorado Access, to increase access to behavioral health support for its patients by participating in the Virtual Care Collaboration and Integration (VCCI, pronounced “Vicky”) program. The VCCI program offers short-term behavioral health services to patients via telehealth. Patients that are referred to the VCCI Program can receive telehealth services in the Lowry offices. Lowry Pediatrics patients can be referred to the VCCI program for a variety of behavioral health concerns, including, but not limited to:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Parent Coaching
- Situational Stress
- Eating Disorders
- Trauma
- Behavioral Interventions
The VCCI program accepts the following insurances:
- Colorado Access Medicaid
- CHP+
- Cigna
- Aetna
- United
Please discuss with your Lowry Pediatrics provider if you feel that your child may benefit from being referred to receive services through the VCCI Program. Please note that this program is a short term solution for psychiatric services and not every patient/family can best be served through this program.
Healthy steps program
Lowry Pediatrics is proud to offer the
HealthySteps Program! HealthySteps, a program of ZERO TO THREE, is an evidence-based, team-based pediatric primary care program that promotes the health, well-being and school readiness of babies and toddlers, with an emphasis on families living in low-income communities. HealthySteps’ goal is to serve more than 1 million young children and families by 2032.
HealthySteps partners with pediatric primary care providers to support parents and improve the health and well-being of babies and toddlers so they are prepared for school and life. Our behavioral health specialist,
Kelly Mead, LPC, will partner with you and your family to provide additional support through this program at each of your well child checks.
