If your child is experiencing symptoms of asthma, Lowry Pediatrics has a specialized pediatric asthma care treatment plan. We will work in partnership with you and your family to provide education on the physiology of asthma, proper use of medications, and how to avoid triggers to help minimize any symptoms your child may be experiencing. Our individualized asthma care plans will keep your child participating in their everyday activities as fully as possible.
Sports physicals
Did you know that the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends all children receive sports physicals, even if they don’t participate in a sport? All children are potential athletes, and physicals are easy to complete during routine checkups. Physicals are a great opportunity for your child’s pediatrician to evaluate your child’s muscular and skeletal development, give advice on avoiding injury, identify conditions that might limit participation, and much more.
care coordination
At Lowry Pediatrics, we believe that healthy children are the result of healthy families and communities. Our Care Coordinator will assist you and your family with things such as food resources, low income housing, WIC program, applications for food stamps or TANF. Our Care Coordinator can even manage specialist referrals and help you create an individualized care plan for a child with complex medical needs.
