Dr. Scott Merenstein is a Colorado native. He received his undergraduate degree from Tuffs University and received his medical degree from University of Colorado. He then went on to complete his residency at The Children's Hospital, here in Denver. Dr. Scott is a board-certified pediatrician who has been in practice since 2000 and is the owner of the practice. Dr. Scott currently lives in Lowry with wife Audrey and their three sons, Joshua, Nathan, and Adam. Outside of the office, Scott enjoys traveling, sporting events and spending time with his sons, especially watching them on the soccer field. Dr. Scott has a particular interest in the treatment of allergies and asthma in children.

Scott's office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings, Thursdays, Friday mornings, with rotating Saturdays.

Kari Waddell is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She recently moved to Denver from Los Angeles and is excited to join Lowry Pediatrics.
Kari received her undergraduate degree in psychology from University of California at Berkeley (CAL) before deciding to pursue a career in nursing. She then went on to receive her BSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and her Master's Degree in advanced nursing from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Kari worked as a Labor & Delivery Nurse at UCLA. She has 5+ years of experience working with new families and children and specializes in newborn care and lactation assistance.
In her free time, Kari enjoys hiking, yoga, and traveling. Kari has spent time volunteering overseas in Uganda as an obstetrical nurse and looks forward to providing primary care services to patients in India this Fall.

Kari's office hours are Monday afternoons, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, with rotating Saturday mornings.

Dr. Kristina Healy is happy to be in Denver and excited about joining Lowry Pediatrics! She recently moved here from Rochester, NY to be closer to her family. She went to college at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and she received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She also completed her pediatric residency training in Rochester.
Kristy lives in Aurora with her husband, Dermot, and son, Patrick. She loves to read, and is really looking forward to all of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer, especially hiking and biking. She also loves to travel - her husband grew up in Ireland, so they visit there often to spend time with family.

Kim Pierce is a Board Certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP). She earned her Bachelor's in Psychology at CU Boulder in 1986, then returned to school and earned a Bachelor's in Nursing, a Master's and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She also completed a one year fellowship with CU Denver's College of Nursing after graduation. Kim spent 3 years running a School Based Health Center (teen clinic) at Adams City High School in Commerce City prior to joining Lowry Pediatrics. While Kim enjoys all ages, she especially enjoys providing healthcare to teens.
A Boulder native, Kim and her husband live in Park Hill and are the parents of three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and her hobbies also include quilting, reading and genealogy.
